MMUF Fellows Lead Morehouse College to Fourth International Debate Title in Six Years

Morehouse College MMUF undergraduate fellows Jonathan Carlisle and Keith Matier led Morehouse's debate team to a victory in the 2017 Lafayette Debates North American Championships in April. Jonathan, a senior, and Keith, a junior, defeated Vanderbilt University on the question "Should democracies prioritize interculturalism as a strategy for managing diversity?" The victory is the seventh national and fourth international championship for Morehouse's debate program in the past six years. The winning team will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris for additional forensic study and practice. Congratulations, Jonathan and Keith!
