MMUF PhD Kalenda Eaton Awarded Steinbrucker Endowed Chair at Arcadia University

MMUF PhD Kalenda Eaton has been awarded the Frank and Evelyn Steinbrucker endowed chair of the humanities at Arcadia University. Dr. Eaton is an associate professor of English who was originally selected as an MMUF fellow at Dillard University and earned her PhD from Ohio State University in English and African-American literature.  She will use her two-year position as chair to spearhead a project, "Beyond Meridians: Practicing Womanist Ideology in the New Humanities," that will encourage collaboration among different humanities departments at Arcadia. Congratulations to Dr. Eaton!
